Eco World International Berhad was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia on April 3, 2017. Its largest shareholders are Eco World Malaysia and GuocoLand Limited, a company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Eco World International currently has 18 ongoing and upcoming development projects, with a total gross development value (GDV) of £4.8 billion in the United Kingdom and AUD 716 million in Australia.
In the UK, Eco World International—through its subsidiary EcoWorld-Ballymore—is developing three riverfront projects along the Thames in London: London City Island in East London, Embassy Gardens next to the new US Embassy in Nine Elms, Vauxhall, and Wardian London, located in the financial district across from Canary Wharf.
In June 2018, Eco World International successfully acquired a 70% stake in Be Living Holdings, the development arm of UK construction and property firm Willmott Dixon Holdings, and established EcoWorld London. This expanded Eco World International’s project footprint from Barnet to Barking, and from Westminster to Woking.
In the Southern Hemisphere, Eco World International’s Australian projects include West Village in Parramatta, Sydney. Parramatta is Sydney’s second Central Business District (CBD) and home to a large and growing population. Another project is Yarra One, located in South Yarra, Melbourne.
